2007 - The world celebrates 10 years of Blogging?
Online journaling have started as early as 1994, but it wasn't until 1997 that the term "weblog" was coined by Jorn Barger on 17 December. By April or May of 1999 it was quickly adopted as both a noun and verb. Evan Williams and Meg Hourihan (Pyra Labs) launched blogger.com in August 1999 which was later purchased by Google in February 2003.
Considering that weblogging has been intimately part of life for 5 - 6 years now!!! I have to consider myself an early adopter to blog technology?
