I've been loosing too much sleep lately.
There is nothing like watching a good game of Tennis; and there was no lack of trills and spills at yesterday's 3rd round Men's and Ladie's Singles.
The Men's singles saw my personal idol, Rafael Nadal at a weak game against Robin Soderling from Sweden. The rain had to come pouring down at the last deciding 7-7 match point for the 3rd set! Soderling made a come back after the showers and went on to winning 3rd set, forcing the game to run into the 5th and final set. Then at 2-0 with Nadal at an advantage, back came the rain! Match continues tonight.

Over at the Ladie's Singles Centre Court saw Tennis warrior Serena Williams who played through the pain of a calf strain to fight, battle and scrap her way into the quarter-finals, defeating Daniela Hantuchova in a rain-marred match of tension, drama and high excitement. Even with her injuries that saw her limping around at numerous points of the game, Hantuchova was still no match for the skillful Williams. Her determination to win was scary to the bone with her tense expressions and a broken racket as she flings it towards the lawn with such might. Comic moments came when a big bird flew into the courts and Williams' erupting screams at various faults.

It is in such drama that I know I will miss Cable Television when my contract expires in September; but with the increase in prices... I can't bring myself to pay so much just for sports... Hopefully the new IPTV plans from Singtel in the pipeline will give viewers like me more options. Maybe even pay-per-view?
