Zeus is fresh, cool and fast! In terms of graphics speed at least. The weekend was spent reformatting Zeus, soldering another power cable to my Tyan Tiger MB and installing the ATI Radeon 9500 Pro. The graphics performance is quite a killer, although heavily tested out with Eve, I've yet to really push the card to it's limit.
Since the reformat, a couple of miscellaneous problems have been fixed. The popping sound from the sound card is resolved. A couple others still remain - the conflict issue with the Shuttle and Iomega Zip external, the Logitech webcam image stuttering, the Outlook 2003 fix etc. The DVD-ROM, however seems to be giving problems and Derek was suppose to install the better Intel network card... So Sunday was pretty much reinstallation throughout and I've decided to put softwares in only when required.
It's nice to at least have that out of the way. Now to fully concentrate on the intended web pages!
