Innovationation is a celebration of the Singapore's Infocomm and technology story. It offered a hands-on experience of a world transformed by infocomm at the Singapore Expo from the 11 - 15 Oct 2006. Unlike trade show exhibitions, there was no large crowds and break through technologies. The exhibition was an exaggerated showcase of the Singapore Infocomm journey since the 1980s. It was also this year that Intelligent Nation 2015 (iN2015), IDA's 10 year Master Plan was announced.
The Goal of iN2015:
1) to be #1 in the world in harnessing infocomm to add value to the economy and society
2) to realise a 2 – fold increase in the value-add of the infocomm industry to S$26 billion
3)realise a 3 – fold increase in infocomm export revenue to S$60 billion
4) to create 80,000 additional jobs
5) to achieve 90% home broadband usage
6) to achieve 100% computer ownership in homes with school-going children

We were each issued with an RFID card that you could use to tabulate Q&A to find out how techno savvy you are. The sets were one of a kind with lighting effects to create a high tech feel.
