The dry spell since Christmas is broken. The weekend is all about down pours and cloudy skies. Generally perfect weather for snuggling under the sheets. Rollerblading will have to wait another week. It's been a long while since I last glided against the wind.

The coming of the Qube!
I've been taking my Resolution List seriously. Just completed editing Ah Wan's trip in Singapore to be included into the Special Features of my HK DVD. Derek has also started the authouring and will be adding in a slide show of our year in 2003. Thought that's kinda neat.

Sometime late last week we purchased for ourselves a 2nd hand Sun Cobalt Qube 3 Server. It's being delivered from the town of Clinton in the US, and will arrive tomorrow night. This cobalt blue baby is Network-in-a-box. Everything for a Webserver is preinstalled! It’s easy to deploy, and its intuitive GUI makes management simple. We can easily establish e-mail systems, network PCs, share files and printers, publish Web content, and provide a secure gateway to the Internet. There’s a Built-in firewall that can be configured to balance protection and access. I’m really cited about having this machine… it’s cool to have your own server!
