'Planet of Love' Gig

I haven't had a decent Saturday Off in quite some time. Had to forego another off in replacement of a meeting concerning one of my systems. I did however manage to catch "The Chronicles of Riddick", or "Pitch Black" Part II. Another one of those larger then life films, with super heroes' natural ability and stun acts. The effects were pretty cool. After killing time at the cinema, popped over to the Youth Park to help Kong film his gig 'Planet of Love'. One of those free community performances with a nice stage, clowns, face painters, balloon sculptures and free drinks. There wasn't really a crowd for a Saturday evening, so the Hosanna Ministry and Band were pretty much performing to family and friends! Publicity certainly can be better. The choice of songs were also rather mellow. Still it was good effort trying to evangelize and nice catching up with some old friends.
