The Fullerton hotel hang out with the gals was much needed. The courtyard facing room was too die for. High bed, 29 Inch Phillips Matchline TV, huge bathroom and crunchy green apples - yummy! Yan stocked the fridge with a bottle of champagne, 3 bottles of 500ml white wine and Lis came with another bottle. The fridge even fell apart towards the night. Highlight of the stay was a nice sunset swim in the lap pool overlooking the Boat Quay skyline and Singapore River. It was honestly very pretty. I was contented just sitting around the Jacuzzi jets, having the jet bubbles message my achy back. We were also served ice water with lemon, very refreshing.

Yan was kind enough to set a hot orange scented BodyShop bubble bath for me after the swim. Just that the water was sooooo hot, my feet turned red upon hitting the water. I get the idea of being boiled alive now. Nevertheless, when the water temperature was fine tuned, everything was perfect.

Dinner was at Black Angus by the river. One Fullerton seems so dead without Central and Embargo. Apparently some lease issue. Dinner was so "jer lat", I felt a cow in my stomach. I regretted changing my order of steak from medium rare to medium. Big Mistake! After dinner, we took a stroll towards Esplanade and back to the hotel for champagne.

I can't ask for anything more in a day. All we have are now memories in our head and the all so precious one and only Polaroids in the world!
