West of Tokyo, in the far off distance is Mount Fuji (富士山), the highest mountain in Japan at 3,776 m (12,388 ft). We ascended to Station 5 on a drizzling cloudy day.

Water from Mount Fuiji flows down via the Kaotou river lands on the lower slopes of Mount Fuji at Yamanashi border from Shizuoka prefecture.
Shiraito-no-Ttaki Waterfalls (White Thread Waterfalls) - The area consist of the Otodome Waterfall (25m high and 5m wide) and Shiraito Waterfall cascading at nearly 200m wide with a vertical drop of 25m.

The view from Kiyomizu-dera (清水寺), Buddhist temple in eastern Kyoto. Kiyomizu is a Historic Monument of Ancient Kyoto and a UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple is unique with a large veranda from the main hall supported by tall pillars, that juts out over the hillside and offers impressive views of the city.

Tōdai-ji (東大寺) Eastern Great Temple is a Buddhist temple complex located in the city of Nara, Japan. Its Great Buddha Hall (大仏殿 Daibutsuden) is the largest wooden building in the world and houses the world's largest bronze statue of the Buddha Vairocana, known in Japanese simply as Daibutsu (大仏). Here, hundreds of deer roam freely. The temple is a listed UNESCO World Heritage Site as "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara".

Kobe Harbourland and Takahama Quay. Kobe (神戸市) is the sixth-largest city in Japan and is the capital city of Hyōgo Prefecture on the southern side of the main island of Honshū.

  4. Wow, the Shiraito-no-Ttaki Waterfalls shot is breathtaking! I also like the Tōdai-ji (東大寺) Eastern Great Temple. There's a mystic feel to it due to the fog. It captured the serenity and solidarity of the temple. Thanks!
