We've just stepped out of the 1st quarter of 2003. Within these short 3 months, the world is roughing out a horrible economy, experiencing a war and a world wide health crisis. We're losing human lives both at the hands of bombs and viruses. The sudden turn of events have caused a lifestyle change in many. The streets are quieter as many playing it safe. The SARS death toll in Singapore is at 4 as of today. The world is set for a major clean up when things cool down.
It almost seems that so much has happened so quickly, as the world becomes so small due to technology advances.
I myself have grow a little tired these days and am looking towards next week where I've planned some time of rest and gathering amongst friends. Think the recharge is necessary, it's a pity hanging out by the poolside doesn't seem to be a wise option...
