The star gazing experience was more enjoyable then expected. With my trusty TRV950 videocam; Aipei, Derek and myself took a drive into Sentosa. While, it is one of the nearest locations... apart from Mount Faber and Labrador Park. I thought we all could also catch the Musical Fountain show starring Kiki the 3D Monkey. Boy was it lame! But the laser and pyrotechnics display were rather refreshing. However, I still prefer the good ole "water dancing to the music" act.

Mars was in the South-Eastern sky, shimmering brightly with a tint of red glow. Zooming right in at digital 150X presented a rather interesting picture. We captured it on tape! Weeee! A piece of astronomy history!
