Yet another Charity Biking Event...
What has Cycling have to do with Charity?
I am reminded and thankful I have legs to paddle...

"Ride-on" is a charity event held to help raise funds for the Society for the Physically Disabled, this event is organised in collaboration with the Citibank-YMCA "Youth for Causes" programme.
It will be a 1-day fundraising event held in East Coast Park on the 5th of August 2006, aimed at promoting cycling as a sport in Singapore, increasing awareness of the challenges faced by the physically-disabled and raising funds for the Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD). A mini-carnival will also be held at the same time, with a rock concert taking place in the evening.

The highlight of the event is a round-island cycling tour that requires cyclists to cover most parts of the island. 40 Cyclists and 8 support vehicles will set off and return from the same venue; at East Coast Park (car park E2). The approximate distance to be covered per person will be 120km.

After suffering the BnB event in late May, I'm amazed at myself for going through another 120km within a day. I am starting to feel like I'm a sucker for pain. Haven't even been training... I'm so dead!
