Just the other day, Belinda was telling me about her bucket-list. The kind of achievements and accomplishments to strike-off before one completes their journey here on earth. We all hope to leave behind something meaningful that continues to inspire. The experiences, sharing and stories... and a good part of our footprint today is digital and online.

Introducing the E-Tomb
From Infographics
The E-Tomb (designed by Huang Jianbo, Zhao Ting, Wang Yushan, Ran Xiangfei and Mo Ran) is a design concept for a solar powered headstone that stores the deceased’s online presence which can then be accessed via Bluetooth by visitors to the grave.

I guess the E-Tomb makes complete sense for people like me who spend a good part of my life on the virtual side. The tombstone is built with Bluetooth and solar panels and stores your logs and online presence. Friends and family can come over and access your virtual life from it and keep each other updated with anecdotes about you by uploading their stories to the tombstone. Sounds a bit spooky right now, but since RFID Tags for this are already popular, it is only a matter of time.
