The weekend was quite a Blast. Got blasted in the pockets with a new pair K2 Xcelerate Titanium ABEC 5 Rollerblades! Complete with contoured aluminum frames and a grayish blue coloured finished; this training / fitness skates is both cool and very fast. My feet are still breaking into the skates and still learning to control the braking system. The skating come back has been on my mind for a while, and hopefully I can take this on seriously as a workout sport (considering the initial investment into the hardware!). This is really a fine pair of skates, and it will only do justice putting it to good use. In due time, I might also put in some video footage or pictures of some skating sessions... think about it...

Apart from skating... the 16th Singapore International Film Festival (SIFF) has started last week. This year's movie tally is at 8! A real far cry from previous film festivals. Generally, the selection this year appears better then last. However, there's always constrains with both time and money. Waiting at home for me are endless hours of Scrubs (Season 2), Alias (Season 2), Birds of Prey, Charmed (Season 5. I'm almost done with this one :P) and many many more I can't even remember...
Then there's the never ending editing! Lack of hard disk space had spurred me to purchase a 80 gig 7200rpm Maxtor (8Mb) last week... so that's goodbye to about S$180 bucks! Gee... money does fly...

This April seems extremely busy for me... and I'm quite amazed how I've arranged all these activities in... with Lent and Easter... it does feel nice to be kept busy with all the activities, doing and learning stuff... puts the mind always from the war and SARS...
