This morning, I read the news about yet another Egyptian Bomb Blast in the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheik. It's awfully strange that I look down at my T-shirt and it says "Hard Rock Cafe Sharm el-Sheik". Felt like I was paying homage to my very enjoyable time spent there in 2004, shortly after the October 2004 series of explosions which hit several hotels in the Sinai resorts of Taba and Ras Shitan. 34 people died in that attack linked to Israeli-Palestinian violence that launched a large wave of arrests in Sinai. In fact the recent multiple explosions which happened at Naama Bay was exactly where I stayed. I loved that place - Beach resort, great sunshine, lots of tourist night life and the gorgeous clear waters of the Red Sea. Even swear I would visit Egypt again and take a direct plane to R&R at Sharm for a couple of days. From the reports, the bombing sounded very bad; 30 dead, 100 over injured. Sounds like the area of Naama Bay is totally destroyed.

This follows the 2nd attack of transportation bombings in London. About 2 weeks after the 1st attack which killed over 50 people. A day after London was announced victor to host the 2012 Olympics Games. I have family living in England. Not specifically in London, but it does shake up the country's assurance in over all security.

There's just too much bad vibes happening these days. Well, at least those that rock the headlines aren't heart warming articles...
