It's been a long while since I last visited Marché after 2 of its franchise branches (at The Heeren and Suntec) went de-funk. The new VivoCity branch comes directly under its Swiss management, ensuring that quality would be kept in check. The move was a good one as the overall feel with a nice glass house concept at the rooftop of Vivo and Marché's classic Swiss props and wooden furniture made the restaurant look both cozy and chic at the same time. The standard of food seemed to have also improved.

Amongst us cousins, we had a sumptuous spread of Pork Knuckles, Roast Chicken, Rösti, Sausages, Stir Fried Vegetables, Turkey Brest Pasta and this plate of Spanish Rice that Edward was eating. It looked too much like fried rice to me... We topped it up with desserts ranging from Apple Pie, Brownie, Crepes, Banana Ice-Cream and Beer. A fresh brewed pint of beer was only going at $7.90. Everything tasted good... there was nothing particularly wrong I can point a finger to.

We paid for it with a hefty bill as we left the place full bellied...

Was a little disgusted with the high price tag on Australian Meat after returning back from the land of cheap beef
