Celeste got us tickets to catch the extremely sexy Harry Connick, Jr on his "My New Orleans Tour 2008" at the Mosaic Music Festival 2008! We were more then willing to fork out a good SGD$168 (which is what I expect to pocket from my up-coming Ang Pow collection) for Circle 1 balcony seats if we could have gotten them. Unfortunately, despite purchasing tickets as early as the tickets went on public sale, our choice seats were already snapped up by priority booking... We're now proud owners of the SGD$88 tickets all the way up on Circle 3 (Level 4) of the Esplanade Concert Hall. I doubt I will be seeing much of Harry and his groovy moves. Figured that if I'm paying good money I wouldn't settle for anything less then what that value can offer.

Remind me to lug my Harry CD collection along. I'll be crossing my fingers for an autograph session. I'll queue as long as it takes! Tom, you should be in Singapore for this one!

"In this concert, celebrate, with Harry Connick Jr. and his band, the colour, vibrance, idiosyncrasies and heart of his beloved New Orleans where the music culture is second to none! Hear him put a New Orleans groove on Jambalaya, swing Careless Love big-band-style, pay rambunctious tribute to his Uncle Ray with Won't You Come Home, Bill Bailey and to Louis Armstrong with Hello Dolly, serenade us with We Make a Lot of Love, look forward to the future with Yes, We Can, reprise vintage R&B with Working in a Coal Mine, and roll out a rollicking Basin Street Blues, among others tweaked to evoke the Big Easy."
