World renowned New Yorker Dessert Chef, Pichet Ong pens me an autograph on his latest dessert recipe book - "The Sweet Spot: Asian-Inspired Desserts". Can't thank Erika enough for such a thoughtful gift. I'm not one who have a sweet tooth, but having the chance to flip through some of the book's pages got me interested in getting my hands dirty. There's also a recipe for a cool glass of Avocado Juice! Perhaps one that can rival the juice outlet at Alexander Food Market.

As they say, "Enjoy life's pleasure through desserts"...

Pichet’s work has been featured in Bon Appetit, Gourmet, Chocolatier, the Wall Street Journal, Elle, New York Daily News, The New York Post, and PastryScoop.com. Between October and December 2004, Pichet was featured in the prestigious “The Chef” column in the Wednesday Dining In section of The New York Times. He was recently named “Rising Star Chef” at Starchefs.com and one of the Top Ten Pastry Chefs in America by Pastry Arts & Design.
