It turned out that the unanimous decision for the cuisine of choice in Jo's Birthday celebration was The Buffet's Steamboat at M Hotel. Bizarre as it may seem, but more than half of the FSP princesses were down with a flu. The birthday gal included! And being "responsible sick people", we decided to quarantine the sick from the healthy!

Sharing the same pot of herbal chicken soup, divided into 3 compartments

What our pot looks like half way through the buffet
I am a horrible steamboat buffet eater. 20 minutes into dinner and I was already FULL! And as my personally concocted herbal ingredients brewed to taste, I couldn't stop drinking the SOUP! I'm simply a sucker for soup! All kinds of soups!

The food selection was fresh, but with minimum variety.
For the SGD$50 per head we paid, I was expecting exceptional quality and choices of food. COCA Steamboat will be a good overpriced match. The herbal prawns, prepared by a chef (who limited the no. of prawns one could take at a go) were probably the best valued item I had through out the night. They served very generous sized Tiger Prawns. If you don't have a cholesterol problem, just whack the prawns to make your moneys worth.
But what I hate most about buffets is that you ALWAYS over eat! The expanded, bloated stomach at the end of the meal is never enjoyable.

With the birthday gal, enjoying our steamy goodness!
